EXPERIENCE
Rick Cauthen commenced his career in commercial real estate in 2004, bringing extensive expertise in site location and economic development having owned his own consultancy specializing in real estate and economic development.
EDUCATION
Rick holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Clemson University and an MBA in Business Administration from Clemson University. Actively engaged in the community, he serves on the Global Business Consortium Board of Directors, is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, and participates in the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors.
ENDEAVORS
Rick’s brokerage practice focuses primarily on industrial, retail, office, and buyer representation, with a specialization in negotiating incentives for clients. He continues to provide economic development consulting services to organizations across the United States. His distinguished career includes roles such as site location consultant at Fluor Daniel Siting and Consulting Services, Principal at Fluor Global Location Strategies, Director of Economic Development at the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, and International Project Manager for Economic Development at the South Carolina Department of Commerce. Rick leverages this multifaceted experience to offer clients a unique perspective, helping them analyze options and make informed decisions to achieve their business objectives.
EDIFICATION
Rick is happily married with four sons, including teenage twins and two attending Clemson University. He is an active member of Brookwood Church, where he serves on the Prayer Ministry team.
